Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your guide meets you outside the arrivals area and handles your transfer to Arusha Villa Lodge.
The drive to the lodge passes through local towns and greenery at the base of Mount Meru. After check-in, you can rest in your room or sit in the garden area.
In the evening, you receive a short safari briefing covering the route, expected wildlife, and daily schedule. Dinner is served at the lodge.
If time and energy allow, a short walk around the property or a spa session can be arranged.
Day 2 — Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Overnight: Conserve Safari Tarangire
After breakfast, depart Arusha and head toward Tarangire. The drive takes you through farmland, small trading centers, and open countryside.
At the park entrance, your first game drive begins. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, which dominate the skyline.
